A blend of botanical herbs, this includes chamomile, blackberry leaves, hawthorn, lemongrass etc. Let’s see why these ingredients make the perfect concoction for helping you to nod off
What's Inside SleepyTime Tea
Commonly thought of as a mild tranquilizer, chamomile contains an antioxidant known as apigenin. This antioxidant interacts with receptors in the brain that initiate sleep.
Studies show that spearmint can help improve your ability to get to sleep. Around 900mg a day is said to increase your tendency to fall asleep with ease.
This has been shown to reduce stress and promote sleep, encourage relaxation and ease tension in aromatherapy.
Found in Linden Tea; another tea used to help sleep disorders. These flowers are believed to function as a mild sedative, much like chamomile.
Studies suggest that orange blossoms can help calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and help those who struggle to sleep.
Sleepytime works because it has a calming and sedative effect. That said, getting good sleep is not easily remedied with drinks. Remember to implement consistent, and healthy sleep hygiene.
