While not common, the bacteria in cold-pressed juice can cause illnesses that can lead to complications including miscarriages or premature labor. For now, it is best to stick to pasteurized juices and drink it in moderation.

Most moms-to-be know that consuming high amounts of caffeine is not ideal during pregnancy. That is good as professionals recommend limiting caffeine intake to 200mg during pregnancy.

Eggnog may be a delicious Christmas drink, but it’s unsafe to consume during pregnancy. This drink has raw eggs, which may contain dangerous organisms like salmonella.
